Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone

SUMMARY

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (or Sorcerer’s Stone) is the book from where we, along with Harry, begin our journey to the magical world of witches and wizards in the school of magic, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The book starts with Harry being kept at the doorsteps of the Dursleys, who were the only known relatives of Harry, by Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall and Rubeus Hagrid. Harry kept on sleeping, with a lightning bolt shaped scar on his forehead, oblivious to the fact that witches and wizards all over the world were celebrating that day.
