Catacomb

SUMMARY

Catacomb, written by Madeleine Roux, is the third book in the Asylum series, where we once again meet Dan, Abby, Jordan and some new characters along with some of the old ones.

The story starts with the three of them on a journey to Jordan’s uncle Steve’s house, and coincidentally that place is the source of strange occurrences. Immediately upon arriving, they start to have weird experiences, like Dan having dreams (nightmares) about his real parents, whom he had never seen before.

On and on, the trio meet Oliver and Sabrina, who, they thought, might have known Dan’s real parents. They claimed they did know his parents, but then they got Dan, Abby and Jordan into trouble.  Down in New Orleans, there is an ancient group of grave robbers that go by the name Bone Artists. Later on, Dan finds out his parents were involved with the police who were trying to capture the Bone Artists.

With time passing by, Dan, Abby and Jordan experience a hell lot for their own good, and finally, discover every possible secret to know what exactly was haunting them. But how did they all of this? What would happen to them at the end of their adventure? Will they survive, or succumb to the peaceful yet terrifying world of death? And who exactly are the Bone Artists?

REVIEW

Catacomb is the final book of Dan, Abby and Jordan’s journey through their past and present, and gives a closure to all the weird adventures of them. It is extremely bone-chilling and interesting to read.

I would highly recommend this to everyone who love books, have started reading books or thinking of starting.
